PC Farm (Bare metal)

Beyond cloud-based solutions, DaDesktop also provides access to bare-metal physical desktops or servers.

This one-machine-per-participant model has been applied in scenarios where attendees need direct access to:

1. a full server without virtualization for performance or licensing reasons (e.g., ONAP, OpenStack)
2. hardware that cannot be virtualized, such as certain GPUs, Mellanox cards when firmware modifications are part of the curriculum, or other network equipment

Additionally, this solution can be integrated with existing physical classrooms in Mexico with minimal adjustments, allowing trainers to prepare the environment remotely without needing to be on site.

The Cloud Desktop used in the cloud can also be deployed directly onto participants' physical machines.

Onsite Deployment Requirements

For onsite deployment, you will need to purchase physical control cables (called ddnexus) at approximately 100 USD each per desktop.
