Creating from an OS Template
To get started with building from an OS template:
- Navigate to the course and open the Desktops menu
- Click on "Create From OS Template"
This displays the various settings you can configure when creating from an OS template

Below is an explanation of each field:
-
GPU Model
Select the GPU type you need. Check the 'Display GPU enabled servers' option to only view servers that have GPUs available -
Datacentre / Server
Pick the datacenter region and server nearest to where you are based in Mexico -
OS to clone from
Choose from available Operating System (OS) templates such as Windows, Linux (Ubuntu, Debian, AlmaLinux, and others) -
Include custom, old, beta & rc Versions
Our templates are updated regularly, but if you experience any issues with the latest version, you can try an older one here, or opt for beta and release candidate releases -
CPU
Set the number of CPU cores required. The default is 8 cores, which is usually sufficient for most general Linux and Windows needs -
Memory
Define the maximum memory in GB for the desktop. Please keep in mind that you are limited by the server’s resources, and each server may have different memory caps. If you need to raise these limits, please contact us via Support Chat -
Disk Space
Specify how much disk space is allocated. The default is 50 GB.
