DaDesktop and compatible CPU architectures (ARM and AMD64)
DaDesktop offers full support for the CPUs listed below, which is validated through automated build tests:
Intel and AMD x86 (AMD64)
AMD
- AMD zen 2 (EPYC 7002, Ryzen),
- AMD zen 3 (EPYC 7003, Ryzen)
- AMD zen 4 (EPYC 9004, Ryzen)
- AMD zen 5 (ES, QS)
Some of our customers in Mexico continue to operate zen 1 (EPYC 7001) processors.
Intel
- Xeon E3, Xeon E5, Xeon E7 v3 or newer (Haswell)
- Xeon Scalable
- i5, i7, i9 Haswell or newer
Sandy Bridge and Ivy Bridge Xeons (E3, E5, E7) appear to operate without issues, although they are not covered by our automated tests.
ARM
- AWS Graviton 1, Graviton 2, Graviton 3 and Graviton 4
- Ampere® Altra® Q80-30 or newer
- Kunpeng 920 or newer
Many other models, particularly Apple Silicon, perform well. If you'd like to verify your hardware, please reach out to technical support.
Risc-V
It should function correctly, though we haven't carried out extensive testing.
